The Canine Kids, Oy
Hey Everyone! First, I just want to say welcome! I thought I would start by introducing my canine kids to everyone– 3 mini long-haired dachshunds – Angel Grace, 15 ½, Tucker, 15, and Eli age 12 or 13. What can I say – he’s the third kid – does anyone remember how old their third kid is? They are all adorable and annoying at the same time - especially Tucker. (Oy, the barking at anything that moves), but I love them like crazy!
Angel Grace
Angel Grace is the queen bee herself, ruling the roost with an iron paw. Sweet, smart as a whip, and totally knows how to play me like a fiddle. She requires some assistance up the ramp to the couch these days (yes, I have a ramp for them) but still has burst of energy. Quiet and reserved until she sees her harness, then she screams like a little kid at a Justin Bieber concert (Tracy does, too - hah!). 🎤👑.
Tucker
I swear Tucker is the happiest boy on earth and has such a sweet soul. Annoying and handsome all at the same time – barks at EVERYTHING, licks EVERYTHING and follows me everywhere like my shadow. He loves the outdoors and is always up for an adventure, mainly to find the smelliest worm to roll in! He is the best prancer of the group – you just want to chant “Happy, happy, happy, love, love, love, life, life, life” when he is trotting around. 🐾🌟
Eli
Eli, aka Mr. Button (weird how he is the only one with a nickname now that I think about it), is the baby of the pups at the ripe ole age of 13 (12?). Again, he is the third kid. He is my anxiety boy, always up my ass. He is all about food! The only kid that needs a slow feeder bowl so he doesn’t choke himself although he does still choke at times even with the slow feeder bowl). He needs to be watched like a hawk during feeding time or he will eat everyone’s food. He and Tucker are the best of buds with Eli following Tucker everywhere. He is my adorable snuggler, always ready for a cuddle session. 🛋️❤️
That’s the basics of each of the canine kids. I also have 2 feline kids – something I thought I would never, EVER, say!!! More to come on the cats in the next rambling.
